1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Grove & Delta, LLC ("Company", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit groveanddelta.com, contact us, or engage us to provide services. It does not apply to information we process on behalf of a client under a written agreement, where we act as a service provider for that client's own data.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, email address, and company name when you submit our contact form or email us.
- The contents of your message, including any project details, budgets, or documents you choose to share.
- Billing and payment details, where you engage us for paid work. Card payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server and security logs generated when your browser requests a page, which may include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These are generated by our hosting and content-delivery providers to operate the site and protect it against abuse.
We do not ask for, and do not want you to send us, sensitive categories of personal information such as government identification numbers, health information, or financial account credentials, unless we have specifically agreed in writing that it is needed for a project.
3. How we use information
- To read, respond to, and follow up on your enquiry.
- To prepare proposals, quotes, and statements of work.
- To deliver, support, and maintain services you have engaged us for.
- To issue invoices, process payments, and maintain accounting records.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information to train machine-learning models, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked to hear from us.
4. When we share information
We share personal information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that help us run our business, such as hosting and content-delivery networks, email providers, and payment processors (including Stripe). They may access information only as needed to provide their service to us.
- Professional advisers. Accountants, auditors, and lawyers, where reasonably required.
- Legal requirements. Where required by law, regulation, court order, or a valid request from a public authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honour this policy.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not run third-party tracking scripts. As a result, no cookie-consent banner is shown. If we introduce analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and add a consent mechanism where the law requires one.
Your browser may store fonts and images in its local cache for performance. Clearing your browser cache removes them; no personal data is retained there.
6. Retention
We keep correspondence and enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain a reasonable business record, and we keep contracts, invoices, and tax records for the period required by applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use HTTPS across this website, restrict access to business systems, and require service providers to protect information they hold for us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and any relevant regulator as required by law.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may store data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, to ask us to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, emailhello@groveanddelta.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making a request.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, and the right to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by the statute. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for verification.
10. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The effective date at the top of this page shows the last revision. Material changes will be reflected here, and where required we will provide additional notice.
